Today I'm trapped in memories

looking at what I had left behind and you

looking back and searching for the answer

and there's nothing but the illusion of light and you

I reached out to see if you're still here with me but there was only silence

so I took a trip out to the frozen lake and you felt so far away

I need you more than ever now and here I am alone

we were looking to mend it but tore it apart

I waded through the sea looking for your broken heart

I could not see if I were you or you were me and all I could hear was wind

I stood right there waiting for a sign to walk away

suddenly I wake up from this dream and I think I'm getting used to this silence now
